What a perfect post! and the scene in the aisle saying shh, cause you thought you knew the person coming around the corner….I can relate. This is hilarious
Thank you Kristal! It was hard not to laugh at myself when I realized that I was telling the camera to shush like being quiet was going to make me invisible.
It SOOOO funny that you were looking for Jet Dry, yet you picked up Finish instead. I do that with things all the time! Brand recognition is over-rated anyway.
Bah! Ha! Ha! I never realized that “Jet Dry” was actually Finish! I just had to peek and Google…
I’m sure this would make some marketers cry. I can imagine it now, (insert sob here) “But she specifically searched for OUR product and doesn’t even know our company name!” (Wah!!!!)
This was so cute! And I admire your technical proficiency. Any video I made would have looked like a really boring version of the Blair Witch Project and prominently featured my chin.
Sarah, you are all too kind to think there was any technical proficiency present here! 😀
Ok. Now that is just HI-Larious. Too funny. Reminds me of the days when the hubby and I used to walk around Target and fill up our carts with all of sh*t we wanted for our house. And then we would remember our meager just starting out means and calculate how much we would be spending. And then we would very quietly park the entire cart and stealthly slip away. I did feel bad for the employees who had to re-shelve our fantasy shopping trip, but then I thought that if I were a Target employee, I might have enjoyed the anti-fantasy, putting all of our sh*t back. Your video looks great. If you are ever looking for another way to hold your phone while you shop, you’ll have to check out my hubby’s business, http://www.snakeclamp.com when you have a chance. So glad I found you through SITSgirls. Can’t wait to see what you have up next! 🙂
Ah yes… I remember the days where we would load up the cart with all these fabulous things that should go in our house. I would never get more than 2 aisles away before reality set in though. Knick knacks and closet organizers are my Achilles Heel! Your husband’s snake clamp is very clever! I love people that see a need and fill it. Will totally keep it in mind! 🙂
Nikol, I was practically crying with laughter at the part where you thought you saw someone you knew passed by. Too funny. And, small tip, never ever put wall decals directly on your walls. They don’t peel clean. They destroy the wall. I have a whole post on it. It was awful. Otherwise, yes, I want and drool over an obscene amount of crap from Target. LOL
Sarah @ 2paws Designs recently posted…Friday Freebie: Geocaching
Target is a crazy fun place. I need the link to that post- we are getting ready to repaint the boys’ rooms and decals will most certainly be involved.
[…] Nikol Murphy has partnered with her sister and started a new “Mommy Blog”, Mom Complicated, and they are full steam ahead with this video! She got some great response with Sh!t I Want From Target. […]
